Yet another recall
Looks like there is another recall. This time for the SIM card. Says will be an OTA update (which began 23 June). This will be my 3rd recall since owning the vehicle from January. Imagine manny more, with all the glitches happening……

Not fond of the fancy naming people want to do nowadays but to me a recall literally means that, you gotta bring it in, it's being recalled. A software update to fix a bug is something a little different to my mind. But this is good news, people have been waiting for this one for a while.

Recall for us means a potentially serious issue, usually safety related. The likelihood of this issue occurring may be minor. The SIM recall is probably related to emergency calls, konigstiger may already have posted the details. Was it about automatic location data delivery related. In practise very unlikely to happen and even then not necessarily a problem (voice call works) but since the car is not doing exactly what it should in an accident, MB issued a recall.
