Does anyone on the board have a Graphite Grey Metallic S? I have a S580 on order in Graphite Grey. I was set on Selenite Grey Magno like my GT63 but once I saw it on the 580 it was not my favorite on a bigger car (don’t get me wrong, it is still a beautiful color). I have only seen it in photos/videos. I swear that almost every photo/video I have seen of Graphite Grey on the S the car looks different depending on the time of day/lighting, etc. It almost looks purple in some videos. Thanks in advance!!

PS: after reading all of the posts with blown tires on the 21’s I am convinced all 4 wheels will explode the second I drive mine off the lot….

I saw it in the evening toward twilight; looked like it would present as black a little later but I didn't actually see it after dark. My impressions were that it does appear grey and leaning toward a hint of green. Had more metallic showing than something like the obsidian. Like all the dark(er) colors it made the chrome pop; not sure if it's a good or bad thing from your viewpoint.

That's about all I can say, it was a bad time of day to "see" the car whether day or night. I didn't notice any purple flash.

My built is in the yellow phase and expected to lock soon; I'm glad I can stop second guessing myself!

Thank you kindly! I’m in the same boat as far as changes and build dates. I just called and added the E-ABC. What color did you go with? My thinking was if I don’t love it, I could Expel Stealth PPF it for a matte finish.

I'm obsidian, black exclusive, I eventually checked all the boxes. Didn't start out that way: At first I couldn't select the exclusive leather, active ambient, and 4D. Over time they all came out of constraint or whatever the official name for can't order is with MB.

My S580e is Graphite Grey, so is the wife's W213. Welcome to see it live if you ever visit Europe.

PS. Wife had a Selenite Gray W213 previously.

I bought a graphite gray s580. It may look good sometimes but didn’t do much for me. So went ahead and traded it for a black one. But that’s just me.

Graphite looks fine, but I think Selenite (Magno or Metallic) looks prettier.

Not a fan of matte paint? Not even on the GT63? Thanks for the message! I don’t think I can make a change this late anyway. First world problems…

I'm thinking we start a pool; miles off the lot before a blowout. Dibs on 450-500 miles!

Color is awesome on that GT 63! Just needs Chrome and Badge Delete. Exclusive Red interior would set it off and even make those hungry hot babes abdicate from your thread to lay back in the lap of Luxury. But they gotta pay for gasoline...no free lunch!

Here in lovely Newport Beach, CA, the hotties are all driving 911’s or McLaren’s as their daily drivers. It takes a new Rolls, Ferrari or something over 60’ that FLOATS to turn their heads. GT63’s and matte finishes are SO fifteen minutes ago.

Moved away from the Southbay in 2011 after buyout @Streamliner . In NM I can make that GT63 work with local talent...lol

My Fave Hot Babe is still that 2020 AMG S63 Coupe at age 62!

I saw a Selenite Magno with Carmine Red, Spoiler, Night package, black rims, driving in front of me last week; it looked awesome, tbh. I felt like trading my Nautical Blue on the spot.

100%. The S63 Coupe is my absolute favorite. I wish they still made it. It would have been my first choice. I have seen some low mileage ones used going for just shy of the original sticker!

I saw a W223 at the carwash in the emerald green, green usually isn't my thing but it was all clean and sitting right in the sun, it was beautoful...

Emerald Green is gorgeous in the sun, and in the dark blends in as almost black. The wife knew she had to have the GLE when she saw one parked outside right in the sun, reminds me of my old E36 3-Series which was Fern Green which is a similar beautiful shade. She gets so many compliments on the color, I imagine on a 223 its even more beautiful.

How do you like the flowing lines? I ordered the Manufaktur Deep White / Black interior. I did not think any other dash matched and it’s what they show in the ordering guide

I like the flowing lines trim and feel that it is the only trim that looks good with the red interior. Like any high gloss, black surface, it shows dust, so I keep a microfiber towel in the door pocket and just give it a wipe every now and then.

I like the silver aluminum fanned walnut trim the best with all interiors. You don’t think it looks good with the red?

It’s also very nice, but to me, the gloss with the red just seemed like the way to go.

I actually had a ‘22 on order, silver, red, flowing lines, etc., but when it arrived missing options and the dealer still wanted $10K over window, I walked. As it turned out, I found the exact same color combination on a fully loaded S580, sitting on a dealer’s showroom floor. Only thing missing was the air fragrance gizmo, which I never use, so I went for it. Had that car had the fanned walnut, I probably would have taken it as well. I agree that it is a very lovely trim.
