Last time for me: The words trolling and trolls have their definition/meaning(s) just like every other word. You don't get to decide what that meaning is because you don't like it or have a sense of entitlement so massive as to make you think words mean whatever you say they mean.
He was by definition trolling. That you don't like it doesn't change that fact. The argument that you should be able to so or do whatever you want because you choose to define it as something else is ridiculous; and I do mean worthy of ridicule. When you say purposefully inflammatory remarks are simply a statement of opinion, you are doing the same thing a child molester would be doing if he said he wasn't really buggering children; he was actually just giving them love. Because that's how he defines love that makes it ok, and more, everyone should also be ok with it or they're being unfair. Yeah, no.
