E ABC Worth it?

I wont mention any names but another poster here (wink wink) says it's possible to get decent pricing on factory wheels here ----> https://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/
Assuming you did that I've also heard it mentioned you could nab some 10 degree action with a little coding. Not that I'm in any way suggesting you should do any of that... *whistles tunelessly*

Yes, if he's lucky. I blew up both of my right-hand 21s within 2 months - on the first sizable pothole I encountered out of town.
If one lives in a particularly remote part of town, I wouldn't be surprised if a tire blew up the moment the car gets out of dealer's parting lot...

My last Mercedes had ABC, and had a beautiful ride. I usually buy out of inventory. It’s not easy finding a loaded S with 19” wheels. After reading this topic, I’ll skip e-active body control. Thank you all for the information.

How to look for s580s with certain options only.
I plan on buying my first S class from inventory within the next few months. Could someone let me know if E-ABC is worth the $6500 option? I've seen a similar thread with respect to the GLS, but not the S class. If anyone has driven a W223 S class with and without the E-ACB, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
thank you

On the subject of EABC: DON’T DO IT! I had a brand new 2022 S580 with EABC and it was truly HORRIBLE! I have had a new W221 with ABC and three new W222’s with MBC and they were all magnificent. The EABC car was absolutely terrible and I highly recommend that nobody go for a car with it. The 4D Audio, by the way, is just wonderful.

The problem is that listing the options on a website is left to human beings and for the most part, they are lazy. In addition, with certain options, it can be very difficult to determine if a car has them or not without someone knowing specifically what to look for. You can try decoding a VIN, but that can be very time consuming.

My EABC equipped S580 had very “annoying” ride quality. When hitting a road imperfection, it felt like each wheel reacted multiple times, giving the car a “nervous” feeling. I truly hated the ride quality in that car. I have driven regular, AirMatic equipped S580’s and felt they rode much better.
