Speaker Buzzing
Does anyone else have a problem with the speaker for various warning tones having a buzzing sound? My 2022 S580 has an intermittent problem with a speaker that I am guessing is built into the driver display. This speaker provides the warning tone for Park Assist PARKTRONIC forward proximity. It also provides a chime when I turn off the vehicle and open the driver's door. I believe the speaker also provides the sound for the left turn signal indicator as well as the chime for the driver seatbelt unbuckled. The buzzing in the warning tone seems to come from the left side of the driver's display.
This problem is intermittent, suggesting to me that there is a corruption in the speaker driver software or the driver fails to load completely when the car is started, rather than a physical failure of the speaker itself. Also, when the buzzing does occur, it can be made worse by increasing the volume of the Park Assist PARKTRONIC warning tone in MBUX Settings >> Assistance >> Parking >> Volume.
Any suggestions for further troubleshooting before I take the vehicle into the dealership?
