Wipers have their own mind
Driving down the road today, sun shinning, wipers off and the wipers start running. I can’t turn them off. Tried “On” then “off”, no avail. Any suggestions? I just shut the engine and restarted….so far so good. Anyone else experience this?

Well, looks like no one else ever had this issue. GOOD, it was quite annoying.
As it turns out, took car to dealer. It was a defective wiper control which had to be ordered and then replaced. Fortunately, it was available in the states and the order only took 1 day to get. Dealer replaced it and put new wipers blades on, all under warranty.
