Wish you had a picture for us to admire, anyways so I guess the surrounding air humidity also affects the sensitivity of it from what I read?

Hey guys I have not made the step up to the new super-handles, but did think of a question you might know the answer to ...

Do you have to have a key in order to open a door with these handles? Thinking of this scenario ...

I come home, park in the driveway, the car's unlocked.

Wife says "did you pick up the kumquats for tonight?"

I say yeah, they're in the back seat of the car. I just settled down and turned on the game, so she goes outside to get them. How does she get the handles to extend so she can open the car door?

You can remotely unlock the car using the Mercedes Me app on your phone. Although it is a paid function, with a periodic subscription fee.

Similarly, you can also start the car remotely, to precondition interior temperatures, in summer and winter times.

I wonder, if they have ever seen any 223 with the traditional door handles (not in the showroom but out in the street) ?

Flush handles looks sleeker I will give it that but given how much of a nuisance it is, the traditional ones are the way to go, plus how much did aerodynamics really like real world improved with the pop out handles after all?

Mine have been working perfectly, and I've never found them a nuisance at all.

But, seeing the latest post by Streamliner, and the known issues with the 12V battery in this car, I'm starting to feel a little uneasy...

I think you got used to it, but I mean at this calibre, you shouldn't have to get used to something, it is supposed to just work. I don't know, maybe I am wrong.
