Swap/Cover Interior Wood Trim

I love everything about my S580 except the H17 Piano Lacquer Flowing Lines wood trim that came with my car. I know a lot of people like the $1,300 option, but I don't care for it. Does anyone know if there is a way to swap this for either one of the other trim options, or somehow "cover" the trim with something that can be removed when it comes time to trade? I'm thinking wrapping it, but am not certain if that's possible??

Thanks in advance for any ideas or guidance.

I’m sure it could be “wrapped” and should not be all that expensive. The best way to “swap” it out is to find someone else with a W223 and have a shop actually swap the trim. The cost of actually buying new trim would give most folks a coronary.

Or wait until someone wraps theirs around a pole. See what you can get on used market
