Fan running after car is shut off

Fan running after car is shut off
Question for the group. I looked in owners manual for info but could not find it. When I park my car after driving, and close/lock the car, I notice sometimes that the fans still run for about 5 minutes after car is shut off. Is this normal, or did some setting get turned on? I also notice sometimes when I get in the car, and before I start it, I hear air coming out the vents, and when I start the car it stops and the regular ac runs.
Any idea what setting this is, and if it can be turned off? TIA for any guidance,

Mine does the same - especially if it is very hot outside, or if you drive the car aggressively. The fan runs to cool things down before powering off.
