Maybach body kit upgrade. W223 goes all in.

The new generation W223 is right there at the highest level of luxury sedans that Mercedes produces, in terms of comfort, style, equipment, ride experience, etc.
But we can always push that level higher, with upgrades, of course! And this is exactly what this customer of mine came to do. And so we get to work!
The ride in the photos, a W223 S500, got a Maybach retrofit body kit upgrade, which basically is a complete makeover, head to tail, including the relevant badges.
To emphasize on the luxury feeling. they did a great job with the chrome plated parts, and that results with an absolutely gorgeous front bumper.

Here's a hundred thousand words:

Looks great! Nice job. Do the Maybach logos on the "C" pillars illuminate? If so where did you pick up the 12VDC supply line?

no, this particular one does not illuminate, it's just the stick on emblem version

I can appreciate custom upgrades. But trying to make a base S 500 look like the top trim Maybach is so tacky and the epitome of fake rich. Not a fan of this kit - at all. It's like pasting Gucci labels on Dickies.

I agree with Ryan Carter's comments. Its tacky too say the least. In addition, if you're willing to spend more money Quite a bit more money) You're much better off buying the S580 with the V8 vs. upgrading the S500 with the V6.

Badgery is never good unless it's a debadge; that's the only acceptable altering of the badge quotient. Shouldn't have to say it but... It's my opinion.
