CarPlay dropping
Any experience CarPlay momentarily dropping out? It’s happened a few times recently where it will cut out for a few seconds then come back only to cut out again.

Mine will sometimes drop out for between 10-15 minutes and give me the "unable to connect to Apple CarPlay - your phone is connected as a bluetooth device" message. Incredibly frustrating.

For me, sometimes when I get in car CarPlay fails to connect. Very annoying! I tried everything. what seems to work is if I connect/disconnect WiFi it SOMETIMES works. Other times, I have to go to "My devices" and reconnect CarPlay, but doesn't always work. For the life of me, can't figure out why.

It’s the “new & improved, latest & greatest” Mercedes-Benz S Class and this is just another one of those annoying glitches that we are supposed to ignore. The dealer doesn’t want to hear about it and it is swept under the rug like all the other annoying issues with the W223. I am beginning to feel that the sheer number of issues with these cars will be too much for MB to deal with for the 2025 face lift and that most will simply carry over to the new models.

It’s just wireless for me. It’s very hit or miss. I can go a few days and ur works fine then one day it is constantly dropping out. I thought it might be WiFi interference but it wasn’t tied to one location. However, what helps re-establishing the connection, assuming it doesn’t come back in its own, is to turn off WiFi on my phone then turn it back. This is usually enough for the car to re-establish connection
