I don't want my car to say its something it's not; can't support that kind of lie, boasting, call it whatever you want. Taillights, on the other hand, are cool.

If I wanted a Maybach I would buy one. I’m good with my S580 and how understated it is. Dont need to embellish anything.

Does the W223 have unactivated matrix lights? Asking because of the photo in post #1.

I am not sure what kind of person would be interested in doing the Maybach coding.
To be a poser when you already have a fine W223 seems like a step-down, reflecting poorly on the car and owner.

Yep, gotta code to get em. It greatly improves the lighting; would give a recommend to any owners considering it.

Wow, that’s great to hear. I would absolutely code that. No cop is going to notice or ticket it. Ridiculous that matrix are not DOT approved while Toyotas are able to blind everyone on the road.

Yeah, it's irritating as hell that they're dragging their feet on it.

hahaha, I got you. But this is quite common, same thing as people change their body kit to AMG looking, or do coding on AMG Startup logo or animation, and some bmw owner will code his bmw with a Rolls Royce Ringtone.

I did this job for like 7-8 customers, most of them already change the car body kit to Maybach and Painted their cars in 2 tone Maybach style, and Maybach emblem etc. Some of them use these cars for business purposes. So at this stage, you may understand why this coding is needed.

I wonder why Mbenz wastes money on headlights that can do more than what they allow it in a certain range.. perhaps parts standardization… but still they’ve been selling these headlights this way for more than a decade now without unlocking this feature! I know that adaptive headlights have been legalized in the US (or the allowable specs were published for manufacturers to follow) just recently though.

I would never do Maybach interior theme, I agree, but the rear / taillights look cool. As for the interior theme coding, it seems to be perceived differently by other cultures and mainly in Asia than here in the US. I go once to China every year, and the amount of fake AMG/Maybach or M-labeled BMWs u see on the roads is just insane!! Sometimes even with the standard body kit..lol. I imagine Maybach screen theme is the same way. I’d do AMG cluster theme as an optional view for cluster though, and will do that for my GLS.

The fact they are still selling software locked headlights give me hope that one day they will offer/unlock this feature at least for a subscription. Tesla has just unlocked (for free) the cornering headlights on my Tesla via OTA… I kinda appreciated that… adaptive headlights OTA coming soon. Am hoping BMW and Mbenz will do the same for their clients if they care enough to get their tests and certifications for adaptive headlights or anti-glare.
