Hi everyone.
Since we got into the winter season my front windshield camera started to fog up. i was thinking that this was normal but its not.

So , how did i fix it?

The problem is caused by the camera hood. Its only 56 euros and 32 cents.
There is probably a heating element thats under the camera hood and if it breaks down (somehow mine did) your camera starts to fog up.

Changed mine and there is no problem as i can see.

Wish this info helps people here which is dealing with this problem.

I have this issue in my 2021 S 580. Does the hood contain the heating element part as well? I have the vehicle scheduled for service at the end of the month.

Yeah the part mentioned “Lens Hood” is also the heating element for the camera.

Hello, does anyone have a part number for the "lens hood"? I can't seem to find anything but the discontinued one.
