HOTSPOT LOW DATA MODE
I purchased an unlimited annual Daimler T-Mobile hotspot plan, but every time I connect and try to download and app or file, I get a notice that LOW DATA MODE IS ENABLED. I am able to browse albeit slowly.
Low data mode is not enabled on my device, and I only get this notice when connected to the car's MBUX. I am in Orlando. Could it be the T-Mobile coverage area is just ****e? I called Daimler hotspot and they have not replied yet.
Does anyone have this issue or know how to resolve it? It is really slow internet despite being an unlimited plan.

Figured it out, I think. T-Mobile is just ****e in my area. Speed test shows 3mb download and 1.2 mb upload. If I drive a few miles away it gets faster and about 5-8 miles away it was as much as 23mb download and 17mb upload. That was the fastest I had it.
The 5-mile radius of my area (Celebration, Florida) is just ****e coverage. It was as low as 1mb download in some places. More useless than **** on a bull sadly. My advice - check your coverage map where you drive the most to see if you are in a low data area.

Nice update for anyone considering HotSpot w/Mercedes.
Whatever they did my bandwidth is now well over 100mb/sec in the same area where it was only 3mb.
