However, I will most likely go the SUV route. Not as hard core as Crabs X5M but something a little softer.
They will be eliminating low margin products like A and B classes though. If I ever get to talk to CEO and Co, I will bring up customers complaints.

IMHO the entry level should be the E class and Maybach should be merged fully with the S class and the "new" S class should be totally focused on quality, reliability, luxury and driveability. I would call the new S class something like the "SM" class and it would position itself firmly between the current S class and Bentley. No longer would there be a separate S class and Maybach S class. Have some ***** Mercedes and plant the flag, remember your pedigree and heritage, and stake your claim!!

please keep your S, and pass on the other thing
What the heck am i going to do if you go through with this?
I think more so; I'm going to miss most of you. This may be among the best cadre of owners I've been among in my forum going, and I wish you all well with this car and whatever comes next.
I'll be around now and then, certainly when the refresh hits. I could see myself doing this again depending on what gets fixed.
Happy trails gentlemen!
Or, if you prefer the chatGPT version...

As the dusky hues of a typical Pacific Northwest sunset painted the sky, I found myself navigating new beginnings in my latest automotive adventure. There was a tinge of melancholy, however, as I reflected on parting ways with my S Class. This car, with all its quirks and features, has been more than just a vehicle; it's been a companion on countless journeys. I've decided to skip the customary recap of highs and lows—we've all shared and debated these points extensively. What's important for me to express is my genuine appreciation for the unique qualities it offered, and yes, it will indeed be missed.
Yet, as I look back, I realize that what I'll miss even more is this extraordinary community. Interacting with such a passionate, knowledgeable group of owners has been a highlight of my experience. This forum isn't just a collection of enthusiasts; it's a fellowship bound by a shared love for automotive excellence. I am grateful for the wisdom, humor, and camaraderie I've found here, and I want to extend my best wishes to each of you, both in your current and future automotive endeavors.
Fear not, this isn't a final farewell. I plan to keep a close eye on the evolution of our beloved model, and the prospect of rejoining this journey for the next refresh is more than enticing. It’s the potential improvements and the lure of what’s to come that might just pull me back in.
So, as I venture forth on this new path, I leave you with a sentiment that feels most fitting: Happy trails, gentlemen! May our paths cross again, whether on these forums or on the open road, chasing yet another unforgettable sunset.
I was honest when I said I liked the car, I would come back for another if they fixed some of the issues with it. We'll see how it's looking in a year or two when I get tired of the current ride.
Vance is a low quality operation.
MB has a low quality dealer network
MB corporate has low quality customer care.
MB AG has low quality design and development processes.
A pattern is emerging.
