2021 S580 Noise on Poweroff

2021 S580 Noise on Poweroff
So, I was about to post asking if anyone noticed a 2-3 second whirring noise upon powering off the engine on a W223...then, all of sudden, I figured it out! It's the electric parking brake engaging! Wow! So now I have to ask if anyone heara the electric brake "setting" after powering the engine off like I do and whether it might be an issue. I couldn't find anything in the threads...if there is, sorry I'm a newbie here.

Parking brake doesn't take 2-3 seconds to apply; rather than one second. Is the noise coming from the engine bay?

Thanks DonS550 and Sactownmb. Don, you are 100% correct. It is about 1 second...not 2-3 seconds. As soon as I hear the 1-second noise, the PARK indicator light comes on, so I think that's the culprit. And I can repeat the noise by releasing the parking brake and then re-applying it.
I do have the soft close doors, but I ruled them out Satownmb.
