I retired early and despite what my mother in-law says, I don’t have a printing press for money in the basement. I have been tinkering with some classic GM muscle cars for the past 30 years and I have a full size Mohawk lift in my garage. These days I’m just here to take care of the family cars when I feel like it or bored. I know the MB is not anything like an old GM but I can at least learn the hard way right?
When I get an newer S560 or a S580 and I see the crazy costs to repair something - I will likely investigate what it takes to tackle such repairs. Do you guys have any recommendations for special or specific tools or scanners, perhaps something that is a must have for the common repairs?
