4D Burmester Option in 2025

-
- I thought the Sky Magic Control was a 4-5K scam, but I really enjoyed it in my W222 even in summer.
- 3D/4D Burmester is a must-have; sound systems are one of those things wherein “more is always better”. There is a reason this package costs a lot.
- I am not quite sure about the 3D HUD.
- An S-class without top-of-the-line leather isn’t a good buy in my view. The feel, touch, and softness of that top-of-the-line Semianiline leather I had in my W222 was outstanding, and the look was even better.
- EABC/MBC/etc: This is the only one that I am not quite sold on; it made every S-class I drove as well as GLS a bit too firm/rigid for in-town roads. I get that it absorbs highways, but am not sold on how it performs in-town and at lower speeds and that’s mostly what I care about. Most MBenz cars are already comfy on highways.
- Rear seat entertainment is nice… I like it at least for completeness. It’s pretty nice for road-trips, massage seats adjustment, and frankly, cosmetically alone it’s well worth it like a nice wheel, or nice interior color, etc - that’s how I see rear seat entertainment screens.

My S580 has that interior and its a huge upgrade. It has W&C, the power rear seats which I actually would rather not have. I don't have HUD which I didn't want, or the 3D gauge cluster which I also actively didn't want (the bezels are bigger around the gauge screen). Only option I would have liked to have had was the 4D audio, but I am so happy with the new 3D audio when played through online media I probably wouldn't order that.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
In all the many cars I have had with sunroofs I have never had an issue with leaking or wind noise or anything like that.

Not 100% sure, but a glass top car should insulate sound a bit better than a metal roof

To look at it another way, how many here were complaining because that damn 223 was too noisy, or the sunroof exploded, as had happened over in the land of BMW?
I love you guys. But damn, this is a tough audience! Lol
