Yeah, its a little much. I love the emerald green, the rubellite red, the nautical blue. Those colors give you a little something without being over the top.

I also always come back to black interiors.

Give me silver with black on my big sedan and I’m happy.

Can’t say I disagree. Pretty hard to beat basic black. Reminds me of the rolled and pleated Naugahyde from my younger years. The lighter colors look good, at least initially, but I think keeping a cream or beige interior clean and unstained would quickly become tiresome.

I see. It is a Manufaktur colour for a reason I guess, it is for those that want that truly unique blend.

I do prefer lighter interiors (and I guess paint as well) because of the summer heat (when I don't want to remote start).

In a sense I also think dark interiors are boring, but that is just me really.

Its really not hard with quality materials that clean well. I have had all cream and white interiors and they stayed looking great.

They are boring, but whats exciting quickly gets old.

The interior I had that gold old the quickest was ivory. I ALMOST got an S580 with the ivory interior...probably would have had the deal come together but I am happiest with black.

I like to have a contrast between the exterior and interior colors. My Porsches had dark exteriors(Panamera-Burgundy Red metallic. Macan-Midnight Blue metallic) with beige interior. I had no choice but black interior since I bought my S off the lot but the black was probably the better choice on a Mojave Silver automobile

I also have the Mojave Silver but with Sienna Brown exclusive nappa leather interior and IMHO looks absolutely stunning. Then again, a matter of taste.

I still want to see an Olive in person - but over the weekend, I watched a video of the China Blue on an S. It too looked great in the video but finding one of those on the ground here in Atlanta is proving to be as elusive as the Olive. Given the comments by many in this thread about being wary of non-standard colors makes me wonder if I would quickly tire of the either Olive or China Blue???? My Cirrus Silver is a gorgeous car, but there have been times at an intersection here in Atlanta, I pull up next to an identical car. I don't like that - I like having a more "unique" car. I'm pretty sure if I had Olive or China Blue, that likely wouldn't happen. Decisions, decisions.

I see. Other common colours in MB interiors seems to be grey and brown.

The latter is a very bright colour, it first appeared on the G-wagen, matter of fact (although I think mentioned already) the MANUFAKTUR program was carried over from the G-wagen, I wonder if MB took inspiration from porsche, or did porsche had the MANUFAKTUR program first.

There is one combo that not a lot of manufacturers like which is blue exterior red interior, they call it the superman spec. I think only bmw allows that combo. Interesting... combo I would say.

I remember seeing that 911 pic 3.5 years ago, and inquired about Nautical Blue S Class with red interior but of course wasn’t an option

I think the Superman spec is still better than the McDonald's spec

Personally, I think red interior is gorgeous but goes well with achromatic colors; silver, white, black, etc.

A local dealer has a VERY LOADED Olive Green 2023 model. One of the many features is e Active Body Control. A trusted advisor cautioned me against getting this feature as it is expensive to repair once the car is out of warranty. Does anyone have experience with the technology? Is it problematic? Is his warning about the cost out of warranty valid?

I think @Streamliner can chime in on the EABC option.
I believe he's had a lot of issues with that.

I had it on my 2022 S580 and strongly advise against it. Rather than go through the whole thing again, do a search.

As @Streamliner suggested, I searched and learned. Dooh! Not much good to say about the technology. While the car is gorgeous, I'll pass due to ABC. Thanks guys for the quick feedback.

I know you meant EABC, but just to be clear: ABC is MAGNIFICENT! MBC is MAGNIFICENT! EABC is not good, in my opinion.
