I just got a 2022 W223. I can’t figure out what the eq (miles and time) mean at the bottom of the trip computer. Also the eq charge at the bottom of the tachometer.

Charge is general recuperation when you left off the brake, it helps slow the vehicle down on top of engine braking. As well as for charging the 12V battery. This was a feature before mild hybrid was a thing on MBs.
On mild hybrid vehicles like the W223 would be regenerative braking and to charge the 12V and 48V mild hybrid battery.

EQ miles and time might mean the time the vehicle was coasting and driving with engine off down a hill for example. For details, will need you to post a picture of what you are talking about.

Although I thought coasting is that blue leaf, not supposed to mention EQ, do you have a PHEV?

EQ in general on MB is about their EQ fully electric lineup, the W223 has mild hybrid standard and that EQ in that case has to do with it having the 48V mild hybrid system. MB made it less confusing by discontinuing the use of EQ boost logos on mild hybrid vehicles post 2024 model year or so if I recalled correctly.
