I had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and the DWS06 on my Audi and the DWS06 were much better for me for one simple reason: they stayed quiet as they worn down while the Michelin’s got noisier and noisier (and stiffer) as they wore down. The DWS06 were softer and more compliant, but they have a tendency to pick up nails and road debris as a result, at least that was my observation.

I’ve driven dws,dws06, and dws06 plus tires since about 2015 or so. Continental has continuously improved the handling of the tire and it’s my personal belief that this is the better tire for any type of weather. I can say, though that the tires don’t last very long for me (rwd e63 s212) and a staggered set up the way I drive. I don’t think that’s very specific. As a contrast, I did have the Michelin on another vehicle for a little bit, but didn’t really put many miles on them so can’t give a good evaluation, but they were good for the time I had them.

Have driven thousands of miles on DWS06, DWS06+, and Michelin PS4 A/S tires across different S coupes on 20" wheels.
Agree with the general sentiment that they're both overall great tires with good performance as UHP All-Seasons, but the DWS06+ tends to be a bit more comfortable and quieter.
My last two tire purchases were DWS06+ sets on two different vehicles.

Yes. I found them to be completely serviceable in at least up to moderate snowfall in the US Midwest on different degrees of plowed/salted/sanded roads. Naturally, nothing is as good as dedicated snow tires, but for a daily driver that still sees winter weather, I never felt them to be unsafe.

Yes they are very good in the snow in the mid Atlantic. That’s a primary reason I have stuck with them in Maryland even though snow is somewhat of a rarity these days. With awd it can go through snow higher than the bottom of the car, but don’t do that cause it’ll crest all sorts of other issues.
