The learning curve never stops

I used to push the camera button before I entered my garage as things are a bit tight in there. I found a geo locate or whatever it is button located on the camera menu. I toggled it to turn the camera on whenever I turn into my driveway. Cool! The display shows both front and rear camera so I’m assured I’ve passed the garage door threshold. I’m sure it’s GPS controlled. It seems as if I remember that the system can store more than one location although I’m unsure of that. Another feature I really like is the availability of the MBUX system to remember your last Dynamic and Auto Stop /Start setting. You do have to remember to wait for the message to be displayed at the top of the large screen. It shows up after all the unnecessary warnings about not being distracted by the MBUX display. Just touching the display message brings back your previous Dynamic and Auto Start/Stop settings. Saves me from trying to find another was to disable the Auto Stop/Start setting.

Yep, you can set many locations. I back into my garage so the cameras always come on, but I have it set for the parking garage at my office, the carwash, etc.

i thought so. I hate drive through lanes. Too much potential for curb rash. Bank, pharmacy, etc. I’ll set it up to come on as I approach those.

Glad for you the S class has that camera feature. If the SL class has it I am not aware of it. I might have to gold old school with curb feelers, to avoid that curb rash.
