New 2022 S500 MBX app Restricted Access
I recently purchased a graphite grey 2022 S500 and i just finished pairing the Mercedes app with the car. But it is giving an error message saying i only have temporal access and my access expires xxxxx date.
Did I set it up incorrectly?

Sounds like something your delivery specialist at the dealership should solve, it might be linked to the previous owner account and they only granted temporary access.

Nah, you didn’t mess up that’s normal. Mercedes only gives temporary access (usually 3-5 years) with new cars. After that, you’ll need a paid subscription to keep using the app features. Annoying, but it’s their way of locking you into recurring revenue.

In the Mercedes Benz mobile app, can't he simply click the icon in the upper lefthand corner and choose Add vehicle, then follow the prompts in the car to finish adding his car to the app? Then he can subscribe to the features? Or, must he go through the website?
