Lot of 2026 S Classes on my dealer lot
I was my dealership yesterday for my service and noticed a ton of new S Classes sitting on the lot and inside the showroom. With the announcement of new refresh, I bet deals can be made on 2026 models.
Is anyone planning on buying a 26 instead of waiting for the refresh? I’m definitely getting refresh myself.

I still want the refresh. I am going to visit my local MB (who wants me hooked on the new refresh). So, to start I will test drive the 2026 S Class to get an idea of how the 2027 will preform. Not sure I can be talked into the 2026 (short of $25k off MSRP)... because I really want the new MB drive assist (pro)- bcoz currently I have a BMW that has hands-free steering... I don't want to give that up, and certainly don't wanna go backwards in a tech-savvy car. I just hope the 2027 M$RP and added options doesn't price me out of the new S class market.

If there are too many '26 models on the lots, it may also delay the shipments of the '27's. We have seen this in the past that MB held back customer cars and inventory to draw down the old inventory...

Just checked out their website. They have 103 new S-class on the lot? How big a dealership is it? (Actually, I was more impressed by the number of AMG 4-door they have. There's like zero in New England.)

Not very big. However, they have a huge underground garage and a bigger satellite lot - The garage was a veritable sea of dust covered S-Classes w/ dead batteries due to sitting for so long. I got a crazy deal, and my service center replaced the battery under warranty.

They're not great right now, 3/36/12k its a 49% residual and a .00078 MF which is good, $2k in dealer certificates...so thats essentially a $2k rebate, with fleet you can probably replace that with $2,500...
