CEL- Code P0A8D
My quick Google leads me to a bad 12V battery, which I have suspected for a while. Right now parked my car is showing the battery partially charged after having gotten home from over an hour driving, so it should be charged.
Going to put it in tomorrow night for them to look at it Wednesday but wanted to see if anybody else had ever gotten this code before.
I took my car in for its B Service several months ago and the dealer replaced my 12V battery without me having to ask them to. I know Merecedes reimbursed them for the work and part, but still nice I didn't have to fight them on this one.
It's a fault code when the LDC (Low voltage DCDC converter - basically the converter equivalent to the alternator on ICE vehicles) output path is faulty.
If there's a connection issue from the LDC (alternator in our case) to the 12V battery, and it's not charging correctly, this DTC will be triggered. (P1A8D vs. P0A8D)
I'm guessing it's the same in your case.
I think the 12V battery itself or a simple connector/harness might be the culprit. A simple fix!
Car is all done, apparently it was a software issue and the battery is fine. Updated the software. We’ll see. It is showing now in the app as fully charged.
