Maybach Mode Coding...excellent...
But when it was mentioned in the GLS forum that Maybach mode there does change the suspension settings I decided to try it out. It absolutely does. I am pretty amazed by the difference in ride quality over Comfort. It also constantly adjusts the height of the car, and below 50MPH or so it puts it in high suspension mode and then back over 50MPH or so it lowers it back to 0, and then at highway speeds it does lower it to -1. It also leaves it in high suspension mode when parked which makes getting in and out of it easier. I suppose the higher suspension mode at lower speeds is to give it better suspension travel. The ride is considerably flatter at all speeds, its hard to describe but its positive.
The transmission tuning also is much "lazier", it truly starts in 2nd gear the way my S560 did, and the transmission wants to shift a lot less which actually helps with the wonky shifting 9G tronic.
My only concerns are its using the compressor a lot to raise and lower it...longevity of that part? I also think the car looks goofy in high suspension mode and around town thats the mode its going to be in most of the time:
But very pleased, I highly recommend having this coded on, especially those who have issues with ride and trans shifting

I don’t like that it sits in high height mode all the time under 50 MPH because it looks dumb, but it rides so great…

I LOVE THAT GREY. I'm pretty sure that's Selenite Grey? It's the perfect shade of grey.
I’d say Steve’s dry cleaner has put his children through college just on his dry cleaning bill alone.
Haha without a doubt
