Anyone had to replace the tires yet on their s55. what was your mileage and what tire did you change to? i have 24k, the tires look good but i was wondering about the ride improving with new tires. thanks

I switched to Michelin PS at 8k mi (new wheels). Huge improvement over the stock Bridgestone RE050. I recommend getting the Michelin PS2.

Although only an '04 S500, I recently upgraded to 18" with Pirelli Zero Nero's (245 & 275). Obviously a vast improvement over the stock 17's, nonetheless they seem to be quite impressive in my initial review.

Started off bridgestone S02's, 245 and 265 rears lasted 12000 miles, replaced the rears with 275 S02.

switched to Pirelli P Zeros all round at 22000 miles when the Fronts were worn out. 245 275

Ther Pirelli's were didn't give as good directional stability, making the car wander a little more when cruising at speed, ride may have been a little better, grip was very slightly better but a little more understeer for some reason, they rears only lasted 8000 miles. the wet weather grip was good at first but tailed off quite quickly.

Switched to Bridgestone Re050's these have been best for me so far, wearing well, ride pretty good, grip good, directional stability is better, wet grip still good. Prefer them on track as well car is a little more neutral.

I've not tried the Michelins, they do well in the tests

Tire tests,
