Radar location
I finally saw where the trapazoidial cleared area was on the windshield and it's not in the center like I was told, but offset towards the passenger side.
It is centered right at the end of the drivers wiper blade and about three inches up from the bottom.
I put the V1 there today and FINALLY got the correct distance!!!
Unfortunately, because of the curvature of the windshield, the unit won't sit level.
This is way better than up by the mirror, it works just like it is supposed to.
I will try it w/velcro on the dash (my preferred method ), but the cleared area doesn't start until about 2 inches from the bottom.
For as stupid as it looks (sitting there all crooked ) this is only place that works the way it is supposed to.
Finally some piece of mind
