Mercedes S430
Kick Down problem
I have a S430, when I press the gas pedal the revs die down dramatically. Makes it impossible to overtake. If gas pedal pressed slowly car drives nearly as normal. Where do I start the investigation?

Failure of Kick-down switch & slipping of stator inside the torque converter.
try to check the condition of switch and later perform stall test or pressure test to investigate the problem.
