Make sure to really get the underside of the grille. It might look like everything is covered completely in paint. Wait for it to dry a few hours, and do a thorough check to see if everything is covered evenly. If you don't need to spray, then take off the newspaper.

What do you mean? the texture is a matte black finish. do you mean an actual spray gun, or just the trigger you clip on to the can?

using spray can is for small pieces,,,anything bigger it really hard to spray even layers.

yeah, i use electrical tape cuz its easier to flex, curve vs paper tape
hardest part is making sure the line is perfect
make sure you pull the tape when the paint is still wet, otherwise it will ruin the line
