I have an oil pump that when inserted into the dipstick portal of an engine will pump the oil out of any vehicle. Being that MBZ does the same thing at their shops, does anyone change their own mbz oil?? If so, is there any thing tricky about dooing this to a superchagred engine? Is there simply one filter or two due to supercharger. I know, I know, read your manual but I thought I would ask. Paying over $200 for an oil cjage sucks when I can and like to do it myself. Thanks
Changing oil isn't very difficult, you will have to jack the car up to get to the drain plug, which is the way I prefer. The oil filter is on the top of the engine near the front, try changing it after sitting most of the night to let the oil drain back down into the oil pan. Have a plastic bag right next to it, as it will still drip quite a bit of oil. Oh yeah, the oil filter cap is an odd size but you can get it off with an oil filter strap wrench, just be careful.

Don't do this on an AMG car. They have windage trays in the oil pans, so the tube will not go all the way down into the pan.
I talked to Mityvac today and he confirmed that is not the best way to change the oil in your car.
Also, I don't know about your dealer, but mine does not use this method.
It should only cost about $150.00 including their Mobil 1 0w-40 229.5 spec.
