mesh bumper grille inserts...
I just installed my new AMG front bumper and I bought the 3 grille inserts for the bumpers $500 bucks. Is it me, or are the middle grille a little different in pattern shape from the left and right? Dealer says they're suppose to be like that. Can anyone verify that for me. Thanks.

It might depend on year. My 2001 S55 has identical mesh for all three grilles. My 2006 C55 has a center grille with thicker mesh than the sides. The center grille is made of ribbon-like wire, not the normal wire with a circular cross-section of the side grilles.

2004 S55 AMG
My 04 has a different grille in the middle. I looked at a couple at the dealer and it was the same as mine with a different grille in the middle. It is suppose to be that way.
