New weirdness: Passenger A/C unit moans when braking
2003 W220 S55 AMG:
Lately, when I brake, I hear an extremelty annoying moaning/squeeking sound from the armrest, where the passenger A/C unit is located. I'm quite sure it is this unit 'cause when I turn it off the sound is gone.
I assume the sound is caused by the negateve G force when braking (pedal or engine) and my logic tells me it could be some sort of vacuum issue of a connector that is released by the negative G force.
Has anybody experienced a similar thing? This car doesn't cease to amaze me
