here is a dyno graph showing a w211 S65 dyno before and after a RENNtech ECU upgrade:

a pick up of 40 rwhp and 142 rwtq

Why is the stock torque figure so low? 541 ft-lbs is like a 40% loss from the flywheel figure of 738. The HP figure reflects an expected 18% driveline loss. Is this a normal loss for torque?

yea, good point.. from the graph it looks like on the stock run they they started farther in the RPM band and didn't get that huge inital burst of torque recorded....

here is an SL65 graph that shows a lot more torque stock....

Do you know what file they ran? Was the car tuned for 91octane or 93octane?
