'04 got the improved DVD COMAND. Not much else changed through '06.

2003 S55-older navigation requiring CD's
2004 S55 Newest DVD Nav system AND last year of 100% of maintenance paid by dealer during warranty period.
2005-2006 S55-Mercedes stopped paying for all maintenance (after 2004)
