Does the current 07' S65 have a speed limiter on it? If so what is it.

There are exceptions, Some cars have had their limiters removed by tuners or even by special order from the factory. You can option some new AMG's with a higher 300 kmh (186 mph) limiter. I believe the higher limiter is part or ordered on top of the 030 sport package.

The factory will not remove the limiter, but AMG will raise it to 186 MPH for European customers if they take a speed-driving education course and, of course, fit tires certified for that speed.
As mentioned, US consumers can only get this as part of the 030 Performance Package on selected models (we get a pass on the drivers' ed.) This means that an S63-030 will outrun an S65. Do I smell an 030 package for the S65? $15,000 for designo lacquer and Vmax=300? I've given up figuring what these guys are going to do.
