This actually is an original 2001 S55 AMG (360hp).
At that time only the AMG rims and exhaust tips were
standard, the body kit had be paid extra. So there are a lot
of S55 driving around pretty much incognito!!!
It would be great if that would still be possible. In my book
a CLS with just the AMG rims and without the body kit looks
the best.

I was going to ask if other countries had some variant b/c all the amg package here in the US comes with the body kit.
Now you already anwered my question. The pre 03 were not kompressed, smaller brakes, much harder to tell
