Seeking ideas for new wheels...black center, chrome/polished lip
Just picked up a 2006 S55 in black and want to get some new shoes for the car. I'm looking for input on wheels...I've always liked the looks of a split five or six spoke design and think black centers with polished lips would look sick on this car. I don't care for the big heavy bling looking wheels...I gravitate more towards the performance/tech look. I'm well acquainted with the HRE line. What other brands do you suggest?

Dude, that would look so ghetto on the S, that car is all about class which is why you need some chrome double duces for that ride. Hell, I bet it would match that Mr. T start kit you wear around your neck. Nice pic by the way.

He said he prefers performance/tech look over big heavy looking wheels.. Put some 19s on there with at least 9.5 wide out back, when I stomp on mine it'll kick out (with ESP off) through the top of 2nd gear. If I decide to hang onto it instead of picking up an S63 or Maser QP automatic, first on my to do list is 19x8.5 fr and 19x10 rear HREs.. Black with chrome lip could look nice in the right wheel. Try the 540r and 840r series, they are lightweight and really compliment the Mercedes look.
