I love the joined look of the dual exhaust tips on the s65 and didn't realize that the tips on the s63 were the same as my cls55 and e55. I am thinking about modding them with amg s65 pipes. What do you guys think, will it look like I am trying to push a 65 or will it be a cool addition?

I think like the non-joined exhaust tips look better.

To answer your question, I don't think you would be considered a poser. All the badges would be the same so you would be good.

Out of curiosity...do you know what the cost is for the joined exhaust tips?

I agree with SteveFox in regards to you're ok as long as you keep all your badging correct.

In regards to the tips...either way it looks good whether it's joined or disjoined.

If anything...I'm going to replace the headers on mine when I get it.
Take a look at these...

The part is about $3500 . About 5k installed.

From what I hear from a guy who did this on his ML63. It made a difference....we'll see.

The only thing that makes you look like a poser is when you mess with badging.

Go for it

Cool. I would never touch my beautiful 6.3 amg badging. I think the cost is a few grand but I haven't prices it out yet. I know a guy who did it to his 550 at a local shop in LA and it looked great. the kleeman headers seem awesome if they really give the extra horses. Could be a great mod for me as well. When are you doing it? Thanks for the replys guys.

well...i just turned in my keys for my '05 S55 yesterday and it has been confirmed that my car finished its build on 5/25.

I should be getting it within the next month and will be taking it to a local shop to put on the headers.

Aside from that I may put the lorinsers I had on my previous vehicle on...well see.

Oh...I may tint the rear lenses like you Noxxin...but will end up leaving the windows alone.

From the 55 I had...the shades were sufficient for me.
