S65 sales..?
Does anyone have the production/sales numbers on S65s?
I see so many in the city, so far, I've seen 4 different ones today. They seem to be surprisingly more popular or just as popular as the Bentley Flying Spur lately. The drivers seem much younger too.
That's good for such a niche type car!

Would guess in Manhattan (and even in Greenwich), most '07-'08 S65s are private limos, so you may be seeing a driver employed by owner of car....
The many <40yo hedgies who drive self around Greenwich (and the even rarer group that drive self around non-limo-unfriendly Manhattan) would prob opt for a CL63 (if choosing any AMG), to simply avoid looking like either a limo driver...or a family guy....
In BeverlyHills, limo svcs now offer one choice of S550/600/63/65 and driver to follow one around town....
I suspect the decently-priced 2yr leases MB began offering on 65s in MY07 are what has spurred the many new S65s one sees around NYC/BeverlyHills/SiliconValley.....
