Can a S600 be an AMG ?

thanks ... I seen the AMG badge and thought it was strange. I donlt think the badge should be on the car - if it is truly not an AMG vehicle.

No, that is definitley an add on badge. Someone slapped a "V-12" emblem on my car which actually looks factory. That side of the trunk has no emblem on the S600 cars. S65's have an AMG badge.

No longer car shopping...

It's hard to tell form this point of view if it has it or not but I have heard that some dealerships (in the USA) consider it "standard practice" to slap an ///AMG label on ANY vehicle they add the ///AMG body kit too. Maybe that is what this is, simply an AMG body kit... If it were mine, I would take it off.

Nope - not a real AMG... though a new model S600 with ABC in Sport is not that lacking in the performance department... (But I am not impartial...

If you look at the badge, it is not symmetrical with the s600 badge. At least when you do it, do it right.

Beautiful car...

...but still a poser. Why the owner (or dealership) would do something like that I have no idea, (actually I do, but I personally wouldn't!).
