S 65 AMG Question (Turbo's not responding well?)

Hey guys,

I recently have been noticing a power decrease in my S 65 AMG, it feels as if the turbo's are not giving their full potential, could this have something to do with the filters or something, I am in somewhat of a dilemma!

Anybody want to share their oppinions on this subject, I'm bringing her to my dealer anyway, but i always like to have some expert opinions from you guys before my dealer rips me off!

The intercooler pump is always to be suspected when power loss is experienced. The diagnosis is excessive IAT (intake air temperature), which a lazy dealer will not see (it doesn't throw a CEL code but must be observed during a road test). But there are other possibilities too. Aren't you covered by a warranty?

Most likely the intercooler pump.

I had the same issues, and all the above are correct. The "charge air pump" is more than likely the culprit. Bosch has been know to have faulty pumps in both the 65's and 55K's.

You were correct, the pump was broken and it was covered under warranty!
