No, my messages are always in English. Sorry, I just had to say that. No disrespect intended. On a serious note, I have had Distronic malfunction messages. They have always been because there has been some debris (bugs, etc.) on the plastic cover. Maybe cleaning it will help.

Clean the distronic square cap in the grille and clean the distronic lens (behind the cap, you have to open the hood) with a damp cloth. If the problem persists visit your workshop.
