LG Voyager Compatability - It works!
About the phone...it has some issues...some very basic smack you in the face "why didn't they think of that" issues. Certainly not an iphone killer/replacement, and not very useful for web surfing. It's great for all purpose use...pretty good at a number of things, just not great at anything except texting. A couple of quick glitch notes:
1. No external speakerphone
2. Touchscreen extremely difficult to use when it comes to scrolling/moving around without clicking on specific items. e.g. when scrolling through the phone book, you will wind up clicking on a specific entry instead of scrolling through the list.
3. You might as well eat a powdered donut and dip your fingers in syrup, cuz this thing smudges like it's free
4. No vibrate/ring function. Only vibrate or ring.
5. Camera has some issues with how is compresses saved pictures. Original picture quality on viewfinder far better than what you recall from the saved pictures file. Also, pictures can not be viewed in full screen like they appear on the viewfinder when you snap a shot.
6. Does not have auto-rotate as I phone does...can only view sideways with pictures and internet.
7. Does not have a touchscreen qwerty keyboard...the touchscreen keypad is a number keypad. You have to flip open the clamshell to get the qwerty.
On the positive side, it's feature rich and pretty damn sexy. And the manager of the Verizon store told me it wouldn't synch with my MB, which was nice to disprove. The tactile feedback is fantastic, and is better than iphone in that respect. The actual touch function (i.e. punching numbers on the touchscreen phone pad) is better than iphone as well, but again the dragging/scrolling function is really poor.
Hope that helps.
