S63 infrared camera fell off, new windshield??
Hi My uncle recently purchased an S63 AMG
Im not sure of all the detailes but heres what i know.
The infrared camera fell off. He went to the dealership and they said that they would have to replace the whole window, they couldnt just glue it back on.
He wants to know.
Has anyone else here had this problem?
and
do you guys think it should be able to be glued back on, or do they really have to replace the whole windshield?

I've had to have my windshield replaced (pebble crack) and they said that the camera needed to be calibrated to the new windshield. If it fell off - it should be on wanrrenty - so no big deal (provided the dealer knows how to install properly).
