1400 roadtrip and cruise control on 02 S55
hi guys,
just completed a 1400 mile spring break trip from SF to San Diego and back.
mostly blended driving and got 20 mpg, probably averaging 75-80 mph on hwy 5.
a few questions:
1) what are the supercharged S55's getting on hwy and long trips?
i'm getting only about 14-15 mpg blended around town, and 20mpg is only on long trips.
2) do any of you guys complain about the seat/headrest? all the gadgets are there including pulsating, heat/cool, etc... but i swear my 2000 E320 wagon's seats might be more comfy. in addition, i think the flat/non-angling head rests SUCK, esp if i'm the passenger and want to nap.
3) has anyone ever had the cruise control go out? i know the distronic sensor needs to be cleaned on the front, but anything else to cause the cruise not to work?
