04 S55 honking noise coming from trunk side panel
It sounds like someone is sitting back there dialing a loud phone. At first I thought it was one of my kids toys stuck back there but it is coming from the left side panel over by the changer. There is a cover piece that comes off and something inside there wrapped in foam. It stinks in there I dont know if its the part dying or just the foam making it smell. The dealer just replaced the active seat pump which they said was in the trunk is this that? Has anyone elses made this noise? It dosnt always do it though. I could hear it this morning still honking after I parked and walked away but when I came back and drove off it wasnt doing it. The active seats and massage seem to be running a little slower than normal but maybe its just me.
