i was having problems with my accelerator pedal for a little while now i just took my car to the dealer a few days ago to have the cataylic converter changed does anybody have any answers to if the lost of power was due to the bad cataylic converter.

If your cat was plugged that could affect you acceleration/power.
If the car is running ok now than I would say case closed.

you need to replace the accelerator padel unit.
