Transmission skipping a beat.

I have a 2005 S55 with 46K miles on it. Warranty expiring in October. I complained to my indy that my transmission skips while accelerating from stop. It doesn't always skip, but it does every now and then. They changed the engine mount, but the problem persisted. What should I do to reinforce my argument i.e. to change the transmission. I don't want any problems with transmission once I am out of the warranty. What should I do ?

If you are under the warranty then take it to the dealer. Why are you having an independent work on the car when you are still under warranty? It could be a bad valve body or you could have Glycol contamination.

Sorry about that. I would have the dealer check it out as that is the best solution. Also get the fluid flushed out as that will get rid of any metal shavings and other things. But have them check the valve body, contamination from the coolant, and or slipping of gears and a new TCM.
