lowering a s63

just so people know, you can not drop a s63 using washers.

i know on other MB models, installing washers above the height sensors works, but in the s63, these sensors are mounted horizontally on the car instead of vertically. (and yes, u can always re-mount the sensors but i didnt want to do that)

just wanted to let people know.

got the car lowered by the MB Star system ill host pics of the drop when i get time to take pics

I got my car lowered on Star...I think it's the safest/best way to go on a MBZ if you want to lower the suspension. Hope to see the pics soon.

Hey guys, just want to know what Star System is,

I have an 03 S600 and want to lower it. what are my options.

The star system is the mercedes computer. They are able to adjust the limits on the height sensors. Thus making the car lower.

went to the dealer and had a tech guy do it 'on the side' cuz its not MB policy to lower cars

Try www.adjustableairride.com i lowered my car with adjustable links and it works fine.
